Bob Keen, Sr. - Owner/Founder Circle K Ranch
Bob
Keen is a retired Lieutenant with the Burlington Police Department.
He is a graduate of the New York School of Criminology and was appointed
by Governor Martin to the North Carolina Board of Corrections.
Bob
established Circle K Ranch as a second and sometimes third job in
1960. Bob has been an Open Show Judge for 40 years and was also a
Judge for the Appaloosa Horse Association for over 10 years.
Bob
continues to travel all over the United States and Canada judging
shows. He is especially interested in helping youth to become knowledgeable
and successful in the horse show arena and often presents at clinics
for 4-H and other youth groups. He is also active in college Internship
programs for student seeking a career in the horse industry.
Bob
still rides, trains and shows horses but mainly he “drives
the bus” at Circle K Ranch by overseeing all of the day to
day operations. The number of trophies in his office and his professional,
personal, and equine history portrayed in photographs posted on his
office wall is extensive and impressive. Stop by and visit…..
